BELLE, Mo. (AP) - Several fire crews have been fighting a fire at a charcoal plant in east-central Missouri.
The Osage County Fire Department says the fire at the Kingsford Charcoal plant in Belle was reported early Friday and that about a dozen fire crews have been at the scene. No injuries have been reported.
An Osage County dispatcher said the fire had been contained by Friday afternoon. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Belle is a town of about 1,500 residents, located about 100 miles southwest of St. Louis.
