ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) - The person killed in Saturday night’s collision between an Amtrak train and ATV in south St. Louis County has been identified.

County police say 28-year-old Patricia Dempsey died in the accident near the 4100 block of Koch Road.

Police spokesman Rick Eckhard says the accident happened around 8:10 when the train hit the vehicle.

A 32-year-old man on the ATV was airlifted to a hospital.  His name has not been released.  He is expected to survive.
