ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Metro Link riders between Southwest Illinois College and Scott Air Force Base can expect delays in the next several weeks if they ride the trains in the evening hours.

Track maintenance will take place each night through Thursday night, then again on Sunday night, and in several weeks to follow.

“Those stations are right together, but those two stations will use buses to transport people from the college station to Shiloh/Scott” said Metro spokesperson Diane Williams.

Williams says if your West bound between those points , give yourself an extra twenty minutes.  East bound travelers should allow for an extra ten minutes.

Work will take place between 8 PM until the end of service time on those nights.    The entire project could take several weeks and updates will be provided on metro’s website:

www.metrostlouis.org,  in the rider alert section.
