By the time city police officials had written up all the reports, a teenager was dead and nine others hospitalized with various wounds.
Killed was 19-year-old Alfonzia Williams, who was shot in the face, abdomen and arm at his home in the 5200 block of Highland Ave. just north of Sherman Park.
Two others at the scene, ages 20 and 16, were also shot and the 20-year-old was later arrested and charged in connection with the shooting.
In all, six separate shootings incidents happened between 5:15 p.m. Monday and 1:15 a.m. Tuesday.
