ST. LOUIS, MO. (KMOX) – It’s billed as the weekend to buy everything ‘back to school’, but many cities in Missouri and Illinois are opting out.
The Missouri Department of Revenue’s sales tax holiday runs from today (Friday) through midnight Sunday. Certain back-to-school purchases; clothing of $100 or less, school supplies not over $50 dollars, and personal computers valued at $35-hundred or less will be exempt from sales taxes.
