ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) - A man was shot and killed inside his north St. Louis County home early Monday morning.
Police say 38-year-old Bryant Carruth was fatally shot after three to four men broke into his home at 10709 Trask Drive around 1:30 am.
Carruth’s wife was also at home but was hot harmed.
Investigators believe the men broke in to rob the home but Carruth confronted them.
Witnesses could provide no details about the suspects.

A home invasion in north St. Louis County early Monday Morning turned deadly.
Police say it happened around 1:30 am when several men forced their way into the home at 10709 Trask Drive.
The homeowner, a man in his 30′s, was killed after confronting the intruders.
The man’s wife was not hurt.
Police say the suspects fled the scene but witnesses could not provide any details about them or the getaway vehicle.
