JEFFESON CITY, Mo. (AP) - Susan Montee has defeated a crowded field in Missouri’s Democratic primary for lieutenant governor primary.

Montee is a former Missouri state auditor. Unofficial returns Tuesday showed her outdistancing seven Democratic rivals in a relatively low-key campaign.
