ST. LOUIS (KMOX)-The man shot by a St. Louis Police officer late Wednesday morning, now faces a list of charges.
21-year-old Dameion Dorsey is charged with burglary, attempted theft, resisting arrest and attempting to disarm and officer.
Police say Dorsey ran from a vacant house in the 3900 block of South Compton. When an officer caught him in a nearby alley, Dorsey allegedly tried to grab the officer’s weapon. The officer shot him once in the shoulder.
The officer, who was not hurt, is a 28-year-old, tw0-year vetaran of the force.
