AMSTERDAM, Netherlands (KMOX) - A bizarre scene during the University of Missouri basketball team’s overseas tour — Coach Frank Haith pulled the Tigers off the floor during the third quarter of Saturday’s game against the Dutch National Team, saying he feared for the safety of his players.

Haith brought an ending to the contest after arguing a “non call” on an elbow to a Mizzou player’s head. Missouri was winning by 25 points at the time.

Following the action, Haith said in retrospect he wished he would’ve let his team finish the game and learn from the adversity.

Mizzou has three more games left on its tour schedule, including two in Belgium.
