Another Chance To Help St. Charles Toddler Who Needs New Kidney

Brett Blume

ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOX) –  KMOX News has been following the story of little Vivian Lemire, a St. Charles toddler who’s waiting for a kidney transplant.

Vivian was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease and by the age of two months, both of her kidneys had been removed.

She’s now 18 months old and still waiting for a new kidney.

The latest fundraiser for Vivian’s family raise the $50,000 needed to help play medical bills happens all next week.

From August 20th through Sunday August 26th, the Autobahn Carwash (3160 Elm Point Industrial Dr., next to Doozles) will donate $5 to the Children’s Organ Transplant Association every time somebody purchases a $26 supreme carwash.

It happens from 7 am-7 pm each day.

Go to for more information on that, and of course how you can contribute in other ways to Vivian’s transplant and recovery.

The family also has a much-visited Facebook page: Children Like Vivian.
