SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) - Police in Springfield are investigating the death of a man found partially clothed in a creek.
KOLR-TV reports people walking on a trail in the western part of Springfield spotted the body in Wilson Creek around 1 p.m. Friday. A boat was being used to remove the body from a shoal.
Police Cpl. Matt Brown says the death is considered suspicious, although investigators aren’t releasing the man’s name or the possible cause of death.
Brown says an autopsy is planned, but it could be weeks or months before investigators know what happened.
