The late Jack Carney, besides hosting the Jack Carney Show between 9 a.m. and Noon Monday through Friday, also created his own serial radio show, called “As Your Stomach Turns.”
In this not-quite-daily radio play, Carney played Tiki Jack, and his sidekick, the young Rob Roy, was played by a young Bob Costas. Jack had lots of guests on his show, and he would often write parts for them to play in an episode of “As Your Stomach Turns.”
Phyllis Diller was one of those guests, and below are two episodes of the radio serial that she took part in. The clips are from the mid 70s. She played the part of Rudolfina Zwyback. In the first episode, Tiki Jack falls in love with Rudolfina… and in the second, she tries to find out the location of the ammo dump.
