ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – Four teenagers beat a 19-year-old man on a MetroLink train for no apparent reason in what may be the latest case of the knock-out game.
St. Louis Police are reviewing surveillance footage of the Sunday night attack which left a train passenger with a broken nose and a fractured eye socket.
Police say the attack happened while the train was moving between Central West End and the Forest Park stations.
John Nations, President and CEO of Metro, says security officers were not on that “particular train car,” but he hopes surveillance cameras will tell us exactly what happened.
Police have not released descriptions of the suspects.
According to Nations MetroLink was just recognized along with seventeen other public transit agencies in the united States for its safety and security.
