ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – In light of the murder of Megan Boken, many are wondering why two more gun incidents in the Central West End haven’t been released to the media until now.
Early Monday, four students were robbed at gunpoint at Euclid and West Pine. Minutes later the same gunman attempted to rob two women and took a shot at them when they ran.
The suspect was working with a getaway driver.
Police continue look for both suspects. The first is described as a black male in his 20s standing 5’10″ and weighs between 200 and 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light-colored shirt, blue jean shorts, and armed with a pistol.
Police admit they should have publicized the incidents a little bit more.
KMOV-TV reported that gun assaults nearly doubled in the Central West End over the last year.
