Help for Illinois Homeowners in Foreclosure

O’FALLON, IL. (KMOX) - Homeowners facing foreclosure in Illinois can now get financial help.

Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan announced in O’fallon that nearly a billion dollars from the settlement in February with the nation’s five largest bank mortgage lenders will be made available.

The money will help with refinancing, restitution and even legal assistance.
