WILDWOOD, MO. (KMOX) - Chesterfield police say a 15-year-old Wildwood area boy is in juvenile custody, suspected of pulling off an armed robbery at a gas station at Long and Chesterfield Airport Roads.
Captain Steven Lewis says the teen was tracked down shortly after his description was distributed to neighboring local police agencies.
“A St. Louis County police officer recognized the juvenile from some previous dealings, contacted our agency, and we were able to contact the parents, get them involved, and positively identify the juvenile,” Lewis said.
Lewis says the suspect surrendered to police the next day.
