ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Forecasters are still trying to predict the impact Isaac will have on St. Louis, but the latest isn’t as bad as earlier predicted.
Hydrologist Mark Fuchs tells KMOX by the time it gets here it will either be a tropical depression or a tropical low.
“This does not look to be a big flooding scenario. Some local areas could get heavy amounts, but I don’t think it will be wide spread” said Fuchs.
He said two to five inches of rain is the general forecast right now, and thats if it stays on track to the North of St. Louis. He says the winds wont be much of a factor: 15 to 25 miles an hour.
Start looking for the rain, on Friday but Saturday will be the bigger event.
