ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - There have been three bank robberies in the St. Louis area this afternoon.

Just before one o’clock, a man (left) robbed the Lindell Bank on Highway K in O’Fallon, Missouri. Police have not yet released a description of the suspect. They say he inferred he had a weapon but didn’t show one.

The other two robberies occurred on the east side, and may have been pulled off by the same man.

At 1:30, a white man (right) wearing a maroon baseball cap and dark Oakley sunglasses with Band-Aids on his fingers robbed the US Bank inside the Schnucks on Troy Road in Edwardsville. No weapon was displayed in the robbery but the man handed the teller a note, demanding money. The suspect is believed to be six feet tall, roughly 210 to 220 pounds, and in his mid-to-late 20s.

Forty-five minutes later, a man wearing a red cap and dark sunglasses robbed the US Bank inside the Schnucks on Belt Line Road in Collinsville.
