ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - How do St. Louis drivers compare with those in other cities around the nation? Right about in the middle of the pack, according to an annual survey by Allstate Insurance.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota has the safest drivers, with the average driver getting into an accident every 13.8 years.

Washington DC was the worst, number 195, with an accident every 4.7 years.

St. Louis comes in 101st with an average time between accidents about 9.2 years. Springfield, Missouri, meanwhile, was the tenth best city for drivers with an accident every 12.1 years and Kansas City, just below that, at number 16 with 11.7 years between accidents.
