GODFREY, IL. (KMOX) - A Madison Illinois woman is charged with posing as a nurse in an attempt to get Hydrocodone.

44 year old Tamara Wait is charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and is jailed on $15,000 bond.

Madison County Sheriff’s officials say Wait called the Schnuck’s Pharmacy in Godfrey identifying herself as a nurse who worked for a local doctor.   She then placed an order for Hydrocodone.

The pharmacist called the doctor who said the drug was not ordered.  When deputies arrived Wait fled but was caught outside the pharmacy.
