ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – A Fenton man wanted for questioning in a bank robbery is hospitalized in critical condition after being struck by an ambulance along Interstate 44.
Authorities say 27-year-old Joseph Haring walked into the path of a private ambulance this morning. That ambulance swerved but could not avoid hitting him.
Police were looking for Haring since a robbery Wednesday at the Fenton Reliance Bank.
Police say the robber got away in a stolen Honda Ridgeline that was found in southwest Saint Louis at Hampton and Chippewa.
