PIKE COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) - Missouri’s dove hunting season opened Saturday.

Governor Jay Nixon was among the men and women taking part in Pike County.

Nixon’s staff says the governor bagged the state limit of 15 doves during his hunt.

Dove season runs through November 9th in Missouri.
