FERGUSON, MO (KMOX) -  They had been friends since high school, but this past Friday, 30 year old Claudia Williams and 29-year old Tasheera Johnson died together after being shot by someone. It happened in the Oakmont Apartment complex. Williams’ one year old daughter was home at the time of killings, but was not hurt.

The killer allegedly took Williams’ car, which was recovered over the weekend in Madison Illinois. But so far, police have not said who they are looking for.

Some two-hundred people gathered to remember the murdered woman and called for an end to the violence at the candlelight vigil at the Oakmont Apartments.  Mourners also encouraged anyone with information to call police and “quit hiding the killer.”
