Ameren Missouri Customers Should See Lower Electric Bills

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMOX) — I’ll bet your electric bills are pretty high this summer, all that heat, all that air conditioning going on 24-7.

Looks like Ameren Missouri electric customers will be getting a small break.

The Missouri Public Service Commission has reduced Ameren Missouri’s fuel adjustment charge, effective September 24.

What does that mean?

Its expected to save the average residential customer about 21 cents a month.

Ameren Missouri has about 1.2 million electric customers, mostly in the central and eastern parts of the state.
