BOWLING GREEN, Mo. (KMOX) - The search is on for five escapees from the Pike County jail.

A family member of an inmate called the sheriff’s office last night… saying there had been an escape.  That’s when the sheriff’s office discovered the inmates missing.

The five are identified as 40-year-old Thomas Wilkerson Jr. of Florissant, 22 year-old Jacob Darnell  and 25-year-old Jason Darnell of Louisiana, MO… 27-year-old Emanuel Chatman of Louisiana and 49-year-old Joseph  Verive of Elsberry.

If you have any information on the escapees… you’re asked to call the Pike County Sheriff’s Department.
