ST. LOUIS (AP)- Wide receiver Pierre Garcon is inactive with a foot injury for the Washington Redskins, taking away one of Robert Griffin III’s options.
Garcon had been questionable with a sore right foot and the team said he would be a game-time decision. Aldrick Robinson is the likely replacement.
St. Louis Rams offensive tackle Rodger Saffold will start in the home opener Sunday, a week after he was hospitalized in Detroit for what the team called a significant neck strain. Saffold returned to practice Thursday.
Offensive tackle Tim Barnes (University of Missouri), elevated from the practice squad to the active roster during the practice week, is active for the game.
