A 48-year-old St. Louis man is dead in a two-vehicle accident Saturday night.

Police say Mbonakira (BOW’-nuh-KEE’–rah) Lewis was riding in a van when it sideswiped an S-U-V at Marcus and Natural Bridge.

The van then hit a retaining wall.

Lewis, police say, was not wearing a seat belt at the time.

The driver of the van sustained a minor leg injury.
