ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – The St. Louis Symphony marks its unofficial start to the 2012-2013 season with its free Forest Park concert this Wednesday (September 19) at 7 p.m. on Art Hill.
The annual concert is a terrific way for the entire family to preview some of the Symphony’s offerings for the upcoming season. Selections will include works from Mozart, Strauss and Sibelius, plus scores from The Wizard of Oz and Pirates of the Caribbean. There will truly be music for everyone!
Pack a picnic basket, lawn chairs and blankets and be sure to stay for the dazzling fireworks display immediately following the performance, generously provided by longtime Symphony friend Mary Ann Lee.
