EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. (AP) — Two Illinois women have been sentenced to federal probation for their roles in credit card fraud scheme involving customers at a steakhouse where they worked.

Thirty-two-year-old Jamie Erwin of Glen Carbon was given five years of probation, and 22-year-old Shadwonna Bausily of Alton was given three years.

They pleaded guilty in June to conspiracy to commit access device fraud.

Bausily admitted that she was working as a hostess at Amarillo Tex’s Steakhouse and Saloon in Alton in 2010 when she conspired with boyfriend Miltiano Johnson to use a device that stole credit card numbers from customers.

Erwin admitted helping Johnson, who transferred the stolen account information onto other credit cards that he and others used at area stores.

Johnson is serving a sentence of four years and nine months.
