FLW to Welcome Home Unit from Afghanistan

FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (KMOX) — After holding a deployment ceremony a week ago, officials at Fort Leonard Wood are welcoming a unit of about 60 soldiers home from Afghanistan.

Fort officials say a ceremony will be held tonight for the 463rd Military Police Company returning from their support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

The soldiers spent the last 12 months in Afghanistan and all of them are returning home safely.

The ceremony will be held from 5:30-6 p.m. at Fort Leonard Wood’s Audie Murphy Community Center.
