Blaine Erp
TROY, Mo. (KMOX) – There’s more information this morning about the Lincoln County teenager who was allegedly planning to shoot several students at Troy-Buchanon High School.
Police say that Blaine Erp is charge with making a terrorist threat and had a list of four students he planned to shoot. He was going to carry out his deadly mission Wednesday, on his 17th birthday.
Erp’s girlfiend, who told police about the plan, says the four students were being targeted because of their contact with her. She told investigators that after killing those four, Erp was going to use an assault rifle to kill the students in his gym class who were mean to him.
The Post Dispatch reports another friend of Erp’s told police that Erp had talked about the Columbine shootings, he regular read Mein Kampf and said he was going to kill his girlfriend, if she kept pushing him.
Erp is currently jailed on a $25,000 cash only bond.
