End the Fed rally held September 22, 2012 in downtown St. Louis (KMOX/Brad Choat).
ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - It’s something that former Presidential candidate Ron Paul has been advocating for quite some time.
Bryce Steinhoff was among a group of St. Louisans joining in the call, Saturday, to dismantle the Federal Reserve Bank system, ”It’s not federal. It’s a private organization. It’s a private, central bank in the United States with no Congressional oversight. They’re inflating our currency, de-valuing the dollar, and destroying the market.”
Steinhoff says “End the Fed” rallies were held Saturday outside Federal Reserve Banks across the country.
Several dozen chanting and sign-holding demonstrators took part in the local rally.
Steinhoff says the 2012 version, of what’s become a yearly event, had a nice feel to it, “Public traction is growing. There’s more public awareness. A bill passed the House this year with extraordinary bi-partisan support to audit the Federal Reserve.”
He says the bill failed in the Senate.
