ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – St. Louis Police are hoping the public can help them identify the man who they believe has robbed the same Family Dollar Store on S. Jefferson twice.
Police say the first robbery occurred Saturday September 15th just after 5 p.m. and the second Tuesday September 18th at 8:30 p.m.
The suspect is described as an African-American male 18 to 22 years old, about 5’8” to 5’10” weighing 140 to 150 pounds and having a dark complexion.
The suspect was seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with Hollister on the left sleeve in the first robbery and a black hooded sweatshirt with a black Chicago White Sox baseball cap in the second robbery.
In the first case, police say the suspect waited in line then approached the cashier with a black revolver and demanded cash.
In the second robbery, he came into the store and immediately showed the cashier a black revolver and demanded cash.
CrimeStoppers is offering a thousand dollar reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest. Callers can remain anonymous.
