CLAYTON, MO. (KMOX) - It was St. Louis County’s 200th birthday Monday. It went by without much fanfare. A proclamation was read.
But now it appears the county will make at least some effort to celebrate.
Late yesterday, a press release from Charlie Dooley’s office said there will be refreshments and historical displays this evening following the county council meeting.
The Press Release didn’t go into detail, only to say it will be held on the first floor of the government center at 41 South Central Avenue in Clayton.
St. Louis County was established on October first 1812
