A Parking Break For Fans Coming Down To Wednesday’s Cardinals Game

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) –  Downtown meter readers are going to ease up on baseball fans during Game 3 of the National League Championship Series at Busch Stadium Wednesday afternoon..

City officials say they won’t enforce overtime violations at parking meters bounded by the following locations:  Tucker, Chouteau, Locust and the Mississippi River.

The amnesty period run from 10 am until 20 minutes after the Cards-Giants playoff game, which has a scheduled 3 o’clock first pitch.

However, tickets will still be written for other violations within that zone, which include parking next to bus stops, yellow curbs, posted signs and in zones designated for handicapped parking.
