New Study Ranks States By Teen Driver Safety

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – How safe are teens behind the wheel? A new report took a look at exactly that.

The most unsafe state in the nation for teen drivers is Wyoming while the safest is Washington DC and Missouri comes in as the 12th worst state for teen car crash deaths involving a teen driver.

The report is from the Center for Disease Control and Erie Insurance. It found Friday to be the deadliest day for teen drivers in Missouri and June is the deadliest month.

Illinois, meanwhile, finished 38th on this list with Saturday the deadliest day of the week for teens and March the deadliest month.
