ST. LOUIS (AP) - A 57-year-old St. Louis woman is hospitalized in stable condition after being struck by bullets fired into her home.
KMOV-TV reports the shooting happened Monday night on the city’s north side.
Police say the woman heard gunfire outside and stood up to see what was going on. That’s when a bullet came through the window and struck her in the shoulder.
An 18-year-old man was also hit in the shoulder, but police haven’t said where he was at the time of the shooting. He went to a hospital but left without treatment.
A witness saw a white Chevrolet Impala pull up to the home and open fire before driving away.
