ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis finds itself near the top of the list for cities most at risk for heart disease.
Men’s Health Magazine put together a list ranking America’s 100 largest cities on heart health issues.
The best city for your heart is San Francisco and the worst is Philadelphia.
St. Louis wasn’t far from the bottom, coming in at number 96, or the fifth worst city in America for heart health.
The magazine says the Marlboro Man would feel at home in St. Louis, which has the highest smoking rates in the nation. Smoking constricts blood vessels, contributing to high blood pressure.
