Chase Update: Woman Robbed At Gunpoint By Her Brother

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) –  It was all about money…a lot of money.

A lengthy chase that included shots fired overnight began in a home in the 5400 block of Delmar with a woman  counting out several thousand dollars, according to a police report.

Suddenly the woman’s brother and two others burst into her room, pointed a gun at her, and demanded the cash.

They took off in a silver Ford pick-up but were soon spots on Enright and the chase ensued, at one point heading down I-70.

Several shots were fired but no injuries were reported.

The truck finally came to a stop on Euclid and the suspects ran but officers were able to capture one of them, the brother of the robbery victim.

A search for the other two is continuing.
