EAST ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – East St. Louis police continue looking for a motive in Thursday night’s deadly shooting there.
Police say they got a call of shots being fired shortly before 11 p.m. Officers went to investigate, but found nothing.
Then Friday morning, a resident in the 1600 block of North 43rd Street found a body in his yard. The victim has been identified as 18-year-old Lee Morton of East St. Louis.
