ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A tractor trailer crash on Interstate 70 in the depressed lanes was blocking the eastbound lanes, and causing lane restrictions in the westbound lanes.

The accident occurred after a rain storm swept through downtown.  Heavy equipment was brought in to help remove the disabled truck.  Investigators are trying to determine what caused the crash.  Traffic was backed up for miles in both directions.
