ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Police have released a composite sketch in hopes of tracking down a suspect in a string of armed robberies.
The latest occurred early this morning on South Spring when the suspect approached a 27-year-old woman walking back to her car. The victim grabbed the woman’s purse and shot her in the face. She is in critical condition.
This morning’s robbery resembles two others, leading police to link the three.
On October 16, a 20-year-old woman was robbed of her cell phone and tablet on Russell before being shot in the left arm and face. Two days earlier, a couple on South Grand was robbed and then told by the suspect to run. The suspect then fired at the man, hitting him in the right hand and left leg.
Anyone with information is urged to call Crimestoppers at 866-371-8477.
