RUTLAND, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police searching for a wheelchair-bound woman missing since Sunday say she may be headed toward Missouri.
Police say 31-year-old Jessica Flanders was last seen at Kmart at the Diamond Run Mall in Rutland on Sunday afternoon.
Since she was reported missing, police have searched around the mall, in her residence and tried to contact her or find her through her cell phone but have been unsuccessful. They didn’t say why she may be headed toward Missouri.
Flanders is described as 4 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 75 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a blue fleece pullover, black pants and sneakers.
Police say Flanders has a diminished mental capacity.
