(KMOX)- Police on both sides of the river are looking for suspects in separate overnight armed robberies.

In St. Louis, officers are hoping video will help them identify the two men who robbed the White Castle restaurant in the 4500 block of South Kingshighway at about 1:30 a.m.

Witnesses say the two were wearing cloths over their faces when they entered the restaurant. One of the suspects displayed a handgun. They jumped the counter, grabbed the cash drawer and fled.

Meanwhile in Caseyville, Ill., we’re told a man fired a shot into the air while he and a woman were robbing the Hucks on 157 north of I-64 overnight.

Officers arrested the woman on the scene but the man fled in a gold Impala, which was spotted in Collinsville but sped away before officers could stop it.
