DES PERES, Mo. (KMOX) –Investigators believe yesterday’s bank robbery in Des Peres was just the latest in a string being committed by a two person team.

The man who robbed the US Bank inside the Schnucks at Manchester and I-270 was wearing a wig and he handed a note to the teller saying he had a weapon. That’s a similar scenario to other recent robberies at supermarket banks.

Police believe the man recently robbed the US Bank inside the Schnucks in High Ridge and his female accomplice held up the US Bank inside the Schnucks at Dorsett and McKelvey on Monday afternoon.

The man is about 5-5 and weighs approximately 160 pounds. Yesterday he was wearing a shoulder-length female wig and a black and blue windbreaker.

The woman is about 40 years old, weighs about 150 pounds and has a crooked front tooth on the lower jaw.
