ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – St. Louis County police will be increasing patrols in the Parkway School District again this morning after an incident Friday.
Police say just after 4 o’clock, an older white man tried to coerce two 10-year-old boys into his grey Lexus SUV in front of a home in the 11900 block of Barkman. The boys did not respond and the man drove away.
Parents were made aware of the incident yesterday and police remain on the lookout for the suspect.
“Your child’s safety is our number one priority and we will be taking time over the next few days to remind students of ways to stay safe while walking home from school or the bus stop,” the email to parents of students at Craig Elementary said. “Please talk with your child about being safe and contact the St. Louis County Police Department if you have any information regarding this incident.”
