ALTON, IL. (KMOX) - Two Alton area men have been charged with breaking into a home under construction and stealing tools.

Madison County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 27 year old William Mundy of East Alton and 40 year old William Braun of Alton.

They allegedly broke into the home on Sunday.  Police aren’t saying how they caught up with the men, but all the tools have been recovered.

Bond was set at $60,000 for both.
