ST. LOUIS (AP) — St. Louis homicide detectives are investigating after a woman’s body was found on a vacant lot.

Police were called before 7 a.m. Thursday to a lot at North Market and Grand Avenue after a passerby spotted the woman’s body. Her clothes were in disarray but police don’t yet know if she had been sexually assaulted. An autopsy is planned.

The victim has not been identified.
