ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – Police in south St. Louis are looking for the man who tried to pick up a 16-year-old girl Thursday morning, by telling her he was a police officer.

It happened as the girl was walking to school in the 4000 block of South Broadway. She went on to school and alerted authorities.

The suspect’s a white man in his 40′s with blonde hair. He was driving a black convertible Mustang.
