ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — This year’s Guns ‘N Hoses title goes to the firefighters!
They ended up smoking the competition, that would be St. Louis city police officers, 12 to 8 after more than four hours of bruising action in the boxing ring.
Prior to the first match, this year’s Ten-Count ceremony honored the two law enforcers and one firefighter who died in the line of duty over the past year.
They’re still counting up the proceeds to go toward the BackStoppers program and the total amount raised should be announced by the end of the year.
